Saher ( Europe) are primarily involved in these types of activities:
Applied research, carried out through partnerships with the best European public and private research centers;
Consultancy services, through which the research products are delivered to European public and private organisations in order to satisfy their needs.
Design, developmenet and delivery of training materials and programmes in the security , safety and crisis managment domains.
These activities concern primarily the fields of:
Intelligence;
Prevention and detection of crime and terrorism;
Societal impact and acceptance of security technologies and activities;
Surveillance technologies and their applications;
And, more in general, security and safety research topics including legal and ethical aspects.

Current and anticipated openings
Current
1 Short term part time contract to contribute to the DroneWISE project delivery with regard to the design and development of Train the Trainer packages and general quality assurance project inputs.
The work will commence immediately and end no later than May 2022 and will be a maximum of 290 hurs over that period. POSITION FILLED
Candiates are expected to:
Contribute and delivery against specific tasks outlined in the project plan
Work collaboratively with project partners from across the EU
Provide feedback and quality assurance of the work from a training perspective
Produce written reports and deliverables
Work remotely with minimal supervision
Required Qualifications
Degree Educated
Experience in design and delivery of training materials including online training
Fluent in English

1. Researcher/Advisor position(s)
Saher is currently looking for one or more candidates to integrate permanently into its team.
Candidates are expected to:
Independently manage European research projects, interacting with international partners and taking care first-hand of the development of the research activity;
Contribute with their creativity, proactiveness and human skills to the company’s advisory projects.
Candidates must feel at ease performing the following activities:
Planning and managing autonomously the delivery of quality work in line with the schedule agreed with partners and clients;
Producing clear, persuasive and concisely written reports;
Delivering public speeches and presentations in front of equally qualified audiences;
Developing and identifying new business opportunities as they arise.
Required qualifications and skills:
Degree eductae or signofocant recent experience in the area of expertise;
Fluent English (spoken and written);
Availability to travel (particularly to European capitals);
Familiarity with the IT world and proficiency in the use of the main MS Office tools;
Interest in working in the safety and security fields.
Desirable qualifications and skills:
Knowledge of additional languages;
Past experience in research, advisory and project management;
Past experience within international environments (e.g., academic, professional, etc.);
Demonstrated interest in current international events, with particular regard to security and intelligence issues.
